My final disaster....

I decided to shoot portraits for my final project so I shot a whole bunch of pictures over the weekend. After a 2 hour shoot that I did with some friends I attempted to upload my shots to show my mom. Then disaster happened.....My moms computer freaked out and froze up and in the process of me trying to close programs down and try again, all my shots (about 250 in all) got erased from my memory card. Feeling confused and heartbroken, Ive been scrambling to shoot more pictures but of course the collections that are gone have been my favorite by far.....sad face

I wanted to play with the idea of a "real life" place or scenario made out of fabric and "not so real life" creatures, which is why the sky is made of denim and the birds are made of felt :) I wanted it to be fun and lighthearted.

Final project

I have been playing around with a few different ideas for my final project and so far I have narrowed it down to my focus being:
texture
or faces/portraits

I love working with the details of textures but I have never really done portraits so I thought this would be a great opportunity to try that out.
Im still deciding........

These are some of the 48 photos that I took in 24 hours. Although I have been taking photos for years now I have never really gone through the process of arranging them to make a statement. I got some guidance for this group and then I started the process on my own with some others that I will post next.
